What if you no longer had the right to express your opinion or the right to investigate and decide for yourself if you agree or disagree with a point of view? That sounds scary! It's a good thing we have Banned Books Week (September 30-October 6) to remind us to celebrate our freedom to read.
In support of this yearly observation, the Library
has created a
Banned Books Research Guide. The guide can help you find banned
books in the library, as well as find books and articles about book banning and
censorship. Learn how to fight censorship and maybe even read a banned book!
